In celebration of International Museum Day, AIMS Museo Maritimo presents the Wall of Voices, a special collection of thoughts and reflections from its followers answering a shared question: “How can museums help unite a divided world?”
Inspired by this year’s theme, “Museums Uniting a Divided World,” the campaign highlights a powerful idea at the heart of museum work today, that cultural institutions are not only guardians of the past, but also active spaces for dialogue, empathy, and connection.

We would like to share the responses of those who supported the Wall of Voices campaign. Through their ideas, we are reminded that even though people come from different backgrounds, many of us share the same hope -- that museums can help bring people together.

The Wall of Voices also reminds us that museums are not just about objects —they are about people, stories, and connections. When we listen to each other’s ideas, we build understanding and unity. Museums help us connect the past to the present.
As we celebrate International Museum Day and National Heritage Month, AIMS Museo Maritimo remains committed to creating meaningful experiences that connect people through history and culture. Together, we continue to prove that museums can help unite a world that learns better when it listens to every voice.
