We are pleased to announce a significant milestone for the AIMS Museo Maritimo of CLAMS. Following an extensive evaluation process, which included months of preparation and several surprise ocular inspections, we have been officially accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT). This accreditation recognizes our museum as a premier tourism enterprise, certified for meeting the DOT's standards for the operation of tourism facilities and services for museums. This accreditation is not just a recognition of our museum's quality and service standards; it is also a testament to the dedication of AIMS toward nation-building.
We believe that this accreditation will significantly bolster our efforts to promote the museum and AIMS as leading institutions in the field of maritime history and culture. It not only affirms the quality of our exhibits and programs but also opens up new avenues for growth and collaboration.
Special thanks are owed to Sir Alexander S. Dimalaluan of CAS who helped in the application process. Moreover, we would like to send our sincerest gratitude to the entire team of CLAMS who supported the application. Most importantly, this was made possible with the invaluable guidance and support provided by our Vice President for Student Services and Development, Ma’am Janet Abuid-Dandan.
Let us use this opportunity to enhance our museum's profile, attract more visitors, and further cement our status both as an educational and cultural landmark. Thank you for your continuous support, and here's to a successful launch and a bright future ahead!
