AIMS Museo Maritimo participated in the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence Training organized by the Pasay City Tourism and Cultural Development Office last October 8, 2025.

It brought together representatives of various Tourism Establishments in Pasay City, and it was facilitated by Mr. Ivannovich Agote, OIC - Assistant Regional Director of the Department of Tourism (DOT) - National Capital Region (NCR).

The training tackled how to deliver the Filipino Brand of Service and explored the key principles of Filipino hospitality, which values warmth, empathy, and genuine care. It also covered concepts like “Bayanihan” (community spirit) and “Malasakit” (compassion), which emphasize collaboration, kindness, and a deep commitment to others' well-being.

Through interactive discussions and role-playing exercises, the training also helped the participants in understanding how Filipino values can be applied to enhance customer interactions, improve service quality, and build lasting customer loyalty. In addition to application of Filipino values, the training also discussed how an establishment can apply for DOT accreditation and the importance of being an accredited entity.
