AIMS Museo Maritimo took part at the recent PHILMARINE Expo 2026 held at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City last June 17-19, 2026. This annual event gathers local and international companies, government agencies, educational institutions, shipbuilders, marine engineers, offshore developers, and technology providers to showcase the latest innovations in the maritime sector. The expo is co-located with related exhibitions including PhilBoating, Oil and Gas Philippines, Naval Defense Philippines, and Offshore Wind Expo 2026.

AIMS Museo Maritimo, together with the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS) School of Graduate Studies, promoted the institution's graduate programs and the museum which covers the country's rich maritime history and heritage. The museum also brought the modular exhibits made by the Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) – Department of History Interns which the expo participants were able to play with.

PHILMARINE Expo 2026 provided an excellent platform for the educational institution to showcase its maritime and engineering programs, research initiatives, and industry partnerships. Through interactive exhibits, student demonstrations, and networking activities, the institution highlighted its commitment to developing skilled maritime professionals equipped with modern technical knowledge and industry-ready competencies.

Participation in the expo also strengthened collaboration opportunities with maritime companies, government agencies, and international stakeholders in support of innovation and workforce development in the Philippine maritime sector. We would like to thank the organizers of PHILMARINE Expo 2026 for providing us an opportunity to showcase our programs, our museum, as well as to engage with industry professionals, and gain valuable insights into the latest developments in the maritime sector. We truly appreciate the support and hospitality extended by the organizers, and we look forward to future collaborations that will continue to strengthen education and innovation within the maritime industry.
