AIMS Museo Maritimo joined the Polytechnic University of the Philippines – College of Social Sciences and Development (PUP-CSSD) in a meaningful celebration of partnership and collaboration during Appreciation Day, held on August 22, 2025, at Claro M. Recto Hall.
The event, which ran from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, honored various host training establishments that have supported student learning through internship programs. Among the recognized partners, AIMS Museo Maritimo stood out for its commitment to mentoring PUP interns and providing them with hands-on experience in museum work, maritime heritage, and cultural education.
During the program, the museum also shared insights into its internship program, highlighting the valuable contributions and deliverables accomplished by its student interns.
In response, AIMS Museo Maritimo extends its heartfelt thanks to PUP-CSSD for the recognition and for the opportunity to work closely with passionate and dedicated students. “We are honored to be part of their learning journey and look forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration,” the museum shared.
The celebration was enriched by inspirational messages from industry leaders, testimonies from interns, and the awarding of appreciation plaques to partner organizations. Intermission performances by G – Sustained Improvisations, led by Sir Rey, and the Musikolohiya Music Guild, brought a festive spirit to the event.
Appreciation Day served as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity between the academic community and its partner industries—showing that behind every student’s success are institutions and mentors who generously share their time, expertise, and support.
