Four Years of Championing Stories, Sining, and Shared Heritage
For the fourth consecutive year, AIMS Museo Maritimo joined again the Pasinaya Festival 2026, the country’s largest cultural gathering held last February 7 – 8, 2026, in celebration of National Arts Month. The museum opened its doors as a space where art, history, and community met - affirming its enduring advocacy for accessible, people-centered culture.
A Living Museum Experience
Throughout the two-day festival, AIMS Museo Maritimo welcomed a total of 238 visitors, with a remarkable surge on Day 2 — proof that when stories are shared meaningfully, audiences respond. More than a venue, the museum became a living platform for dialogue, memory, and creative exchange.
Voices That Carried Meaning
This year’s Pasinaya programming at AIMS Museo Maritimo featured storytellers, writers, and collectives whose works echoed the museum’s maritime and community-oriented advocacy:

Their performances transformed the museum into a shared storytelling space — where heritage was not only remembered, but felt.
Advocacy in Action
As one of 17 partner museums and galleries nationwide, AIMS Museo Maritimo stood alongside thousands of artists and cultural workers in a unified call: art must remain accessible, inclusive, and rooted in community. Pasinaya 2026 reached over 60,000 online and onsite participants, engaging 13,257 audiences and showcasing the works of 2,708 artists across the country.
Our participation reflects the museum’s long-standing advocacy to:
Democratize access to arts and culture
Promote maritime narratives and local histories
Support artists, writers, and storytellers as culture bearers
Transform museums into active spaces of learning and dialogue
Moving Forward
Four years of participation in Pasinaya is a milestone and a commitment. AIMS Museo Maritimo continues to believe that museums are not silent spaces, but storytellers themselves. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to nurturing creativity, honoring heritage, and ensuring that art continues to belong to everyone.
Mabuhay ang sining. Mabuhay ang kwento. Mabuhay ang sambayanan.
